The financial and logistic hardships of the present context tend to disrupt contractual relationships. The following options will be discussed, in a practical manner:
1) Salvaging contractual relationships. The adaptation of contracts. Grounds for request. How can the refusal of the other party be dealt with? Are there means to force the other party into renegotiation/adaptation?
2) Failure of either party to execute the agreement. Possible claims of damages. Options.
2.1 Enforcement of the obligations. Difficulties and possibilities. If and when a lawsuit is needed.
2.2 Ending the contract. Do’s and don’ts. Finding the easy way out.
2.3 In either of the two situations above, damages can be claimed. What can these include?
3) Other ways of dealing with a problematic contract in the current context.
